George McGinnis

George F. McGinnis, born on August 12, 1950, was a prominent figure in American basketball, known for his remarkable career spanning eleven seasons in both the American Basketball Association (ABA) and the National Basketball Association (NBA). He began his journey on the hardwood as a college player for the Indiana Hoosiers, where he showcased his talent and earned third-team All-American honors in 1971.

McGinnis made a significant impact in the ABA, starting his professional career with the Indiana Pacers. His time with the Pacers was marked by exceptional performances, earning him three All-Star selections and the prestigious title of ABA Most Valuable Player in 1975.
