George Stephanopoulos

George Stephanopoulos, born on February 10, 1961, is a prominent American television host and political commentator. Currently, he coanchors the popular morning show Good Morning America alongside Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan, while also serving as the host of This Week, ABC's Sunday morning current events program.

Before stepping into the world of journalism, Stephanopoulos made a name for himself as a key advisor within the Democratic Party. His political career took off as the communications director for Bill Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign, where he played a crucial role in shaping the campaign's message and strategy.

Following the success of the campaign, he continued to serve in the Clinton administration as the White House communications director and later as a senior advisor for policy and strategy. His tenure in politics concluded in December 1996, paving the way for his transition into journalism.
