Georges Delerue, born on March twelfth, nineteen twenty-five, was a prolific French composer renowned for his exceptional contributions to cinema and television. Over his illustrious career, he crafted more than three hundred and fifty scores, showcasing his remarkable talent and versatility in the world of film music.

His work earned him numerous accolades, including an Academy Award for Best Original Score for the film A Little Romance in nineteen seventy-nine. Delerue's brilliance was further recognized with three César Awards in consecutive years, from nineteen seventy-nine to nineteen eighty-one, making him the first composer to achieve this remarkable feat.
