Geremi

Geremi Sorele Njitap Fotso, known simply as Geremi, was born on December 20, 1978, in Cameroon. A former professional footballer, he showcased remarkable versatility on the pitch, excelling as a right-back, right midfielder, and defensive midfielder. His playing style was characterized by his power, pace, and combative nature, complemented by his exceptional free-kick ability.

Throughout his illustrious club career, Geremi achieved significant success, particularly during his tenures at Real Madrid and Chelsea. At Real Madrid, he celebrated the pinnacle of club football by winning the UEFA Champions League. Later, at Chelsea, he added several domestic honors to his impressive collection, solidifying his reputation as a top-tier player.

On the international stage, Geremi represented Cameroon with distinction, earning one hundred and eighteen caps from 1996 to 2010 and scoring thirteen goals. He was a vital member of the national squad that participated in seven Africa Cup of Nations tournaments, triumphing in the years two thousand and two thousand and two.
