Géza Kiss

Géza Kiss, born on October twenty-second, eighteen eighty-two, was a remarkable Hungarian athlete known for his prowess in swimming and water polo. His journey in the world of sports began with a focus on freestyle swimming, where he quickly made a name for himself.

At the 1904 Summer Olympics, Kiss showcased his exceptional talent by winning a silver medal in the one mile freestyle event and a bronze medal in the eight hundred eighty yard freestyle. His achievements at these games marked him as one of the leading swimmers of his time.

Two years later, at the 1906 Intercalated Games, Kiss continued to excel, contributing to Hungary's success by securing a gold medal as part of the four by two hundred fifty meter freestyle relay team. His dedication to the sport and his country was evident in every competition he entered.
