Ghislaine Landry, born on April 27, 1988, is a distinguished Canadian rugby sevens player who has made significant contributions to the sport. She first gained international recognition when she was part of the Canadian women's rugby sevens team that clinched a gold medal at the 2015 Pan American Games. Her leadership qualities shone through when she succeeded Jen Kish as captain during the 2016–17 season, guiding her team with skill and determination.

In 2016, Landry was selected for Canada's inaugural women's rugby sevens Olympic team, where they achieved a remarkable bronze medal victory against Great Britain. Her prowess on the field was further highlighted in 2017 when she became the all-time leading scorer in the HSBC World Rugby Women's Sevens Series, amassing seven hundred and six points. This achievement set the stage for her historic milestone on October 20, 2018, when she became the first woman to surpass one thousand points in the women's sevens World Series.

By the time of her retirement in November 2021, Landry had scored a total of one thousand three hundred and fifty-six career points in the women's sevens series, a record that stood until March 2024 when it was surpassed by Tyla Nathan-Wong. Her impressive tally included one hundred and forty-three tries and three hundred and nineteen conversions over two hundred and eight games, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
