Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Giacomo dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto

Giacomo dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto, born on December ninth, nineteen forty-four in Rome, was a distinguished art historian, archivist, librarian, and university teacher. Hailing from a noble family with deep connections to the Vatican, he pursued his academic journey at the prestigious Sapienza University of Rome, later sharing his knowledge as a faculty member at the Pontifical Urban University.

His commitment to the Sovereign Military Order of Malta began in nineteen eighty-five, culminating in his full vows in nineteen ninety-three, when he became a Knight of Justice. Dalla Torre's leadership journey within the Order included two terms as interim leader, first from February to March two thousand eight, and again from two thousand seventeen until two thousand eighteen.

On May second, two thousand eighteen, he was elected as the Grand Master of the Order, a position he held until his passing. Throughout his tenure, he focused on mending the Order's relationship with the Vatican, which had faced challenges following the resignation of his predecessor, as mandated by Pope Francis.
