Gianluigi Lentini, born on March 27, 1969, is a distinguished former professional footballer from Italy, renowned for his role as a winger. His football journey began in his hometown with Torino in 1986, where he quickly made a name for himself. During his time at Torino, he contributed to the team's success by winning the Serie B title and the Mitropa Cup.

In 1992, Lentini's talent caught the attention of AC Milan, leading to a groundbreaking transfer that made him the most expensive player at the time, with a fee reported to be eighteen point five billion Italian lire, equivalent to fourteen million euros.
