Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Gideon Sa'ar

Gideon Sa'ar, born on December ninth, nineteen sixty-six, is a prominent Israeli politician, journalist, and lawyer. He first entered the Knesset in two thousand three as a member of the Likud party, where he made significant contributions until two thousand fourteen. During his tenure, he held key ministerial positions, including Education Minister from two thousand nine to two thousand thirteen and Minister of the Interior from two thousand thirteen to two thousand fourteen under the leadership of Benjamin Netanyahu.

After a brief hiatus from politics, Sa'ar made a comeback in two thousand nineteen, where he notably challenged Netanyahu for the leadership of Likud but was unsuccessful. Following this, he established his own political party, New Hope, and served as Minister of Justice from two thousand twenty-one to two thousand twenty-two, as well as Deputy Prime Minister in two thousand twenty-one within the Bennett-Lapid government.

In two thousand twenty-two, Sa'ar formed an electoral alliance with Benny Gantz's Blue and White faction, known as National Unity. However, after the elections, he returned to the opposition. The dynamics shifted with the outbreak of the Gaza war, leading National Unity to join the governing coalition, where Sa'ar was appointed as a minister without portfolio and became an observer in the war cabinet.

In March two thousand twenty-four, Sa'ar withdrew New Hope from the National Unity alliance and resigned from his ministerial position. Nevertheless, he returned to the government in September two thousand twenty-four and, in November of the same year, succeeded Israel Katz as Foreign Minister. His political journey took another turn when he resigned from the Knesset in July two thousand twenty-five.
