Gina Rodriguez, born on July 30, 1984, in Chicago, is a multifaceted American actress celebrated for her dynamic performances across various mediums. She gained widespread recognition for her leading role as Jane Villanueva in the critically acclaimed CW series Jane the Virgin, which aired from 2014 to 2019. Her portrayal earned her a Golden Globe Award in 2015, solidifying her status in the entertainment industry.
