Giorgi Kvirikashvili

Giorgi Kvirikashvili, born on July twentieth, nineteen sixty-seven, is a prominent Georgian economist and politician who served as the Prime Minister of Georgia from December thirtieth, two thousand fifteen, to June thirteenth, two thousand eighteen. His political career is marked by significant roles, including Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development from October twenty-fifth, two thousand twelve, until September first, two thousand fifteen, and Minister of Foreign Affairs from September first, two thousand fifteen, to December thirtieth, two thousand fifteen.

Before ascending to the role of Prime Minister, Kvirikashvili also held the position of Deputy Prime Minister starting July twenty-sixth, two thousand thirteen. His tenure in these roles was characterized by a strong commitment to advancing Euro-Atlantic and European integration, as well as promoting Georgia as an appealing destination for foreign investment.

On June twentieth, two thousand eighteen, Kvirikashvili was succeeded by Mamuka Bakhtadze, who had previously served as his Minister of Finance. Bakhtadze's appointment was confirmed by the Georgian Parliament with a decisive vote of ninety-nine to six, marking a new chapter in Georgia's political landscape.
