Giovanni Losi

Giovanni Losi, born on November twenty-ninth, eighteen thirty-eight, was a dedicated Italian Catholic priest and a prominent missionary. His life was marked by a profound commitment to his faith and a passion for serving others, particularly in the challenging landscapes of South Sudan.

In collaboration with Father Luigi Bonomi, Losi made significant contributions to the Nobiin language, publishing the first catechism and dictionary in this language.
