Giuseppe Beghetto

Renowned for his prowess on both road and track, Beghetto made a significant mark in the cycling world during his active years.

On the track, he showcased his exceptional talent by clinching three gold and three silver medals in the sprint events at the world championships from nineteen sixty-one to nineteen sixty-eight. His remarkable achievements also include winning a gold medal in the tandem event at the nineteen sixty Summer Olympics, where he partnered with his sprint rival, Sergio Bianchetto. Additionally, he set impressive world records in the two hundred meters with a time of eleven point forty seconds and in the one kilometer with a time of one minute and eight point forty seconds.
