Goldie Boutilier

Goldie Boutilier, born on July thirty-first, nineteen eighty-five, is a multifaceted Canadian artist known for her talents as a singer, songwriter, model, and DJ. Hailing from Reserve Mines, Nova Scotia, she embarked on her musical journey at the age of twenty when she relocated to Los Angeles. It was there that she caught the attention of Ryan Tedder, a member of OneRepublic, leading to a recording contract with Interscope Records under the alias My Name Is Kay.

In two thousand eleven, Boutilier released her self-titled debut EP, marking the beginning of her rise in the music industry. She later simplified her stage name to Kay and gained recognition through successful collaborations with renowned artists such as Tiësto and Steve Aoki. Her debut album, My Name Is Kay, was released in two thousand thirteen, showcasing her unique sound and artistic vision.

After navigating challenges with her label, Boutilier parted ways with Universal in two thousand fifteen. Seeking new inspiration, she moved to Paris, France, where she embraced a new identity as a DJ under the name Goldilox. In two thousand eighteen, she independently released her second album, Very Best, further solidifying her presence in the music scene. In two thousand twenty, she rebranded herself as Goldie Boutilier, continuing to evolve as an artist.

In addition to her musical endeavors, Boutilier has made a name for herself in the fashion world, modeling for prestigious brands such as Diesel Black Gold, H&M, John Galliano, Casablanca, and Luisaviaroma. She is currently represented by VIVA Model Management in Europe, showcasing her versatility and appeal across multiple creative fields.
