Goldie's rise to prominence began in the vibrant world of graffiti art, but it was his groundbreaking contributions to the UK jungle, drum and bass, and breakbeat hardcore genres during the 1990s that truly defined his career. He gained acclaim for his work under the aliases Rufige Kru and Metalheads, and he co-founded the iconic label Metalheadz. His debut album, Timeless, released in nineteen ninety-five, made a significant impact, entering the UK charts at number seven.

In addition to his musical achievements, Goldie has also made a mark in the film industry. His acting credits include notable roles in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough, Guy Ritchie's Snatch, and the popular BBC soap opera EastEnders, showcasing his versatility beyond music.
