Throughout his career, he has worn many hats, including that of a self-styled dating coach and a prominent figure in the manosphere, where he gained notoriety for his anti-feminist content under the pseudonym Coach Red Pill.

At one point, Lira was celebrated as the highest paid Chilean writer in the world, showcasing his prowess in the literary field. His journey took a significant turn when he relocated to Ukraine, where he resided in Kharkiv for several years. As the Russian invasion of Ukraine unfolded in early twenty twenty-two, Lira began vlogging about the conflict, which led to his characterization by Ukrainian officials and Western media as a purveyor of Russian disinformation and propaganda.

In April twenty twenty-two, Lira faced a brief disappearance in Ukraine, later revealing that he had been detained by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
