Goran Šprem

Goran Šprem, born on July sixth, nineteen seventy-nine, is a distinguished former Croatian handball player whose career spanned over a decade. He began his professional journey with RK Zagreb in the late 1990s, quickly establishing himself as a formidable player in the sport.

In the early 2000s, Šprem had a brief stint with RK Medveščak Zagreb before returning to RK Zagreb for a second spell from two thousand two to two thousand four. His career took a significant turn in October two thousand four when he joined the German club SG Flensburg-Handewitt, where he showcased his skills on an international stage.

After a short period with TuS Nettelstedt in February two thousand five, he returned to the club later that summer, ultimately spending a season there. In two thousand six, he transitioned to MT Melsungen before finding a home at HSG Nordhorn in November of the same year, where he played until two thousand nine.

Šprem's contributions to the Croatian national team are noteworthy, as he was part of the squad that clinched gold medals at the two thousand three World Men's Handball Championship and the two thousand four Summer Olympics. He also earned silver medals at the World Championships in two thousand five and two thousand nine, and participated in the two thousand six European Men's Handball Championship, where Croatia finished fourth.
