Gordon Bertie

Gordon Bertie, born on August 20, 1948, is a distinguished Canadian retired flyweight freestyle wrestler. His remarkable career is highlighted by his triumph at the World Cup in 1975, where he showcased his exceptional skills on the mat. The following year, he continued to impress by securing a second-place finish, further establishing his reputation in the wrestling community.

In 1974, Bertie earned a silver medal at the British Commonwealth Games, a significant achievement that underscored his talent and dedication to the sport. Additionally, he claimed a bronze medal at the World Championships, solidifying his status as one of the top competitors in his weight class.
