Gordon Murray

Gordon Murray, born on June eighteenth, nineteen forty-six, is a distinguished automotive engineer and car designer with a remarkable legacy in the world of motorsport. His career took off as the lead designer for the Brabham Formula One team from nineteen sixty-nine to nineteen eighty-six, where he made significant contributions that shaped the future of racing cars.

Following his successful tenure at Brabham, Murray transitioned to McLaren, serving as the lead designer from nineteen eighty-seven to nineteen ninety-one. During this period, he further solidified his reputation by creating some of the most iconic racing cars in Formula One history.

After leaving McLaren, Murray embarked on a new venture by founding the Gordon Murray Design consultancy. His innovative spirit led him to establish Gordon Murray Automotive in two thousand seventeen, a low-volume specialist car manufacturing company that has since become part of the Gordon Murray Group, focusing on high-end, high-performance sports cars and various groundbreaking automotive projects.
