Goro Shimura

Goro Shimura, born on February twenty-third, nineteen thirty, was a distinguished Japanese mathematician renowned for his contributions to number theory, automorphic forms, and arithmetic geometry. His academic journey culminated at Princeton University, where he held the esteemed position of Michael Henry Strater Professor Emeritus of Mathematics.
