Grace Kelly, born on November 12, 1929, in Philadelphia, emerged as a prominent American actress and model before becoming the beloved Princess of Monaco. After graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1949, she captivated audiences with her performances in New York City theatrical productions and television broadcasts.

Her film career took off with her debut in 'Fourteen Hours' (1951), but it was her roles in iconic films such as 'High Noon' (1952) and 'Mogambo' (1953) that solidified her status as a Hollywood star. Kelly's remarkable talent earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in 'The Country Girl' (1954) and three Golden Globe Awards, placing her 13th on the American Film Institute's list of the 25 Greatest Female Stars.

In 1956, at the age of 26, Grace Kelly retired from acting to marry Prince Rainier III of Monaco, embracing her new role as a princess. Together, they had three children: Princess Caroline, Prince Albert, and Princess Stéphanie. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to charitable work, particularly focusing on children's rights and the arts, founding the Princess Grace Foundation in 1964.

Her final film appearance was in the documentary 'The Children of Theatre Street' (1977), which received an Academy Award nomination.
