Greg Biffle

Gregory Jack Biffle, known affectionately as "the Biff," was a prominent figure in American stock car racing, born on December 23, 1969. His racing career spanned from 2002 to 2022, during which he made a significant impact in the NASCAR Cup Series, primarily driving the No. 16 Ford for Roush Fenway Racing. Biffle's journey in racing began in the mid-1990s with the NASCAR Winter Heat Series, where he caught the attention of former racer Benny Parsons, leading to a pivotal recommendation to Jack Roush.

In 1998, Biffle was honored as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year, and he clinched the championship in the year 2000. His success continued in the NASCAR Busch Series, where he was named Rookie of the Year in 2001 and subsequently won the championship in 2002. Biffle's tenure in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series from 2003 to 2016 was marked by an impressive total of nineteen race victories.

Notably, Biffle was one of only three drivers to achieve championships in both the Busch Series and the Craftsman Truck Series, and he was among the elite thirty-six drivers to win races across all three of NASCAR's national series. After a brief retirement, he made a return to NASCAR with a Truck Series start for Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2019 and later for GMS Racing in 2020.

Tragically, Greg Biffle's life was cut short in December 2025 when he was involved in a devastating airplane crash in Statesville, North Carolina. He was traveling with his beloved family, including his wife Christina and their two children, Emma and Ryder, at the time of the accident.
