Greg Classen

Greg Classen, born on August 24, 1977, is a distinguished former professional ice hockey centre with a unique heritage, being both German and Canadian. His career in ice hockey spanned an impressive twenty-one seasons, during which he showcased his skills across various leagues and teams.

Classen made his mark in the National Hockey League (NHL), playing a total of ninety games exclusively with the Nashville Predators. His journey through the sport also included significant contributions in the American Hockey League (AHL), where he participated in three hundred twenty-one games over six seasons with four different teams.

After establishing himself in North America, Classen transitioned to European ice hockey, ultimately concluding his professional career in the German Eishockey-Oberliga with the Rostock Piranhas after the 2018–19 season. Throughout his extensive career, he played for fifteen different clubs, demonstrating his adaptability and passion for the sport.
