Greg Steube

Greg Steube, born on May nineteenth, nineteen seventy-eight, is a prominent American politician and lawyer currently serving as the U.S. representative for Florida's seventeenth congressional district since two thousand nineteen. His district is centered in Sarasota, a vibrant area known for its cultural and natural attractions.

A dedicated member of the Republican Party, Steube has a rich legislative history, having served three terms in the Florida House of Representatives from two thousand ten to two thousand sixteen. He also spent two years in the Florida Senate until two thousand eighteen, where he represented Sarasota County and the western part of Charlotte County.

Steube is recognized for his strong support of President Donald Trump. In December two thousand twenty, he was among one hundred twenty-six Republican members of the House of Representatives who signed an amicus brief in support of Texas v. Pennsylvania, a significant lawsuit contesting the results of the two thousand twenty presidential election, which saw Joe Biden defeat the incumbent Donald Trump.
