Gregory H. Johnson

Gregory H. Johnson, born on May twelfth, nineteen sixty-two, is a distinguished former NASA astronaut and a retired colonel in the United States Air Force. With a remarkable career in both military and space exploration, Johnson has made significant contributions to the field of aeronautics.

As a veteran of two space flights, Johnson participated in the STS-123 and STS-134 missions. During his first mission, he served as the pilot, successfully delivering the Kibo logistics module and the Dextre robot arm to the International Space Station. His second mission, STS-134, launched on May sixteenth, two thousand eleven, and concluded with a landing on June first, two thousand eleven.

In addition to his flight experience, Johnson has held various roles within NASA, including serving as a Capcom for several missions, where he played a crucial role in communication between the ground and the astronauts in space. His leadership and expertise have been invaluable to the agency.

After retiring from active duty, Gregory H. Johnson took on the role of President and executive director for the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) until March tenth, two thousand eighteen. Currently, he is contributing his extensive knowledge and experience to Lockheed Martin, continuing to influence the future of space exploration.
