Gregory III of Constantinople

Gregory III of Constantinople, known by the surname Mammis, was a significant figure in the Eastern Orthodox Church during the tumultuous period leading up to the fall of Constantinople. Born around the year fourteen fifty, he rose to prominence as the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, serving from the year fourteen forty-five until his death in fourteen fifty.
