Greyson Chance

Greyson Chance, born on August 16, 1997, is an American singer-songwriter who first captured national attention in 2010. His remarkable performance of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" went viral on YouTube, amassing over seventy-two million views and establishing him as a prominent child artist.

Following this breakthrough, Greyson released two original songs, "Stars" and "Broken Hearts," which garnered impressive view counts of over six million and eight million, respectively, on his channel in the subsequent year. His talent caught the eye of Ellen DeGeneres, leading to a joint-venture recording contract with her label, eleveneleven, in collaboration with Maverick, Streamline, and Geffen Records. This partnership facilitated the release of his debut commercial single, "Waiting Outside the Lines," in October 2010.

In 2011, Greyson's debut studio album, "Hold On 'til the Night," was launched, peaking at number twenty-nine on the Billboard 200 chart, marking it as his only charting release to date. After a brief hiatus, he returned to the music scene with his second extended play, "Somewhere Over My Head," released in May 2016.
