Gualberto do Rosário

Gualberto do Rosário, born on October 12, 1950, is a prominent Cape Verdean politician and writer. His political career is marked by significant leadership roles, including his tenure as Prime Minister of Cape Verde from July twenty-nine, two thousand to February one, two thousand one.

Before officially assuming the role of Prime Minister, Gualberto served as the acting prime minister from July to October of two thousand. His leadership was instrumental during a pivotal time in Cape Verde's political landscape.

In addition to his role as Prime Minister, Gualberto do Rosário was the Leader of the Movement for Democracy, a political party that has played a crucial role in shaping the democratic framework of Cape Verde.
