Guillaume Patry, known in the gaming world as Grrrr..., is a celebrated Canadian professional gamer hailing from Quebec City. Born on June nineteenth, nineteen eighty-two, he made his mark in the competitive gaming scene as a StarCraft player, achieving the prestigious title of world champion in nineteen ninety-nine. Patry's unique approach as a random player set him apart, and upon moving to Korea, he honed his skills focusing on the Protoss race, innovating strategies that would influence the game's meta for years to come.

His career was highlighted by significant victories, including winning the Hanaro OSL, the first-ever OSL tournament, and consistently placing high in various competitions. However, by early two thousand four, Patry's interest in StarCraft began to wane, leading to his retirement from professional gaming.
