Guitar Slim

Eddie Jones, widely recognized by his stage name Guitar Slim, was born on December 10, 1926. He emerged as a prominent figure in the American music scene during the 1940s and 1950s, captivating audiences with his exceptional skills as a guitarist, songwriter, singer, musician, and dancer.

Guitar Slim is perhaps best known for his million-selling hit, "The Things That I Used to Do," released under Specialty Records. This iconic track not only showcased his unique style but also earned a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's prestigious list of 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll.
