Gülnuş Sultan

Gülnuş Sultan, born in 1642, was a significant figure in the Ottoman Empire, serving as the chief consort of Sultan Mehmed IV. Her tenure as Haseki Sultan spanned from 1664 to 1687, during which she played a crucial role in the imperial court.

As the mother of two Ottoman sultans, Mustafa II and Ahmed III, Gülnuş Sultan's influence extended beyond her immediate family. She held the esteemed title of Valide Sultan from 1695 until 1715, marking her as a pivotal player in the political landscape of the empire.
