Gulshan Kumar Dua, born on May 5, 1956, was a prominent Indian film and music producer, as well as a successful businessman. He is best known for founding the Super Cassettes Industries Private Limited, which later became synonymous with the Bollywood music industry. His vision and entrepreneurial spirit led to the establishment of T-Series in 1983, a record label that would rise to prominence in the 1990s.
Under his leadership, T-Series transformed into a leading force in the music sector, producing a vast array of soundtracks that resonated with audiences across India. Following his untimely death on August 12, 1997, the legacy of T-Series continued through his family. Additionally, his daughters, Tulsi Kumar and Khushalii Kumar, have made their mark as playback singers, further enriching the family's contribution to Indian music.
