Günther Oettinger

Günther Oettinger, born on October fifteenth, nineteen fifty-three, is a prominent German lawyer and politician affiliated with the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). His extensive career in European politics includes significant roles as the European Commissioner for Energy from two thousand ten to two thousand fourteen, the European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society from two thousand fourteen to two thousand sixteen, and the European Commissioner for Budget and Human Resources from two thousand seventeen to two thousand nineteen.

Oettinger has also made his mark on regional politics, serving as the Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg from two thousand five to two thousand ten. During this time, he was the chairman of the CDU Baden-Württemberg, further solidifying his influence within the party and the region.
