Guy Berthiaume

Guy Berthiaume, born on January first, nineteen fifty, is a distinguished Canadian archivist and historian, renowned for his expertise in Classical Antiquity. His career has been marked by significant leadership roles, including his tenure as chair and chief executive officer of Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec from June twenty-second, two thousand nine, to June twenty-first, two thousand fourteen.

Following this, Berthiaume took on the prestigious role of Librarian and Archivist of Canada, serving from June twenty-third, two thousand fourteen, until August twenty-ninth, two thousand nineteen. His contributions to the field of archiving and historical scholarship have been invaluable, earning him the title of Librarian and Archivist of Canada Emeritus.
