Guy Charron

Guy Charron, born on January twenty-fourth, nineteen forty-nine, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey centre and coach. His career in the National Hockey League (NHL) spanned from nineteen sixty-nine to nineteen eighty-one, during which he showcased his skills on the ice and made a significant impact in the sport.

After his playing days, Charron transitioned into coaching, serving as an assistant coach with five different NHL teams from nineteen ninety to two thousand eight. His coaching journey included brief head coaching roles with the Calgary Flames in nineteen ninety-two and the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim during the two thousand and one season.

In addition to his NHL experience, Charron took the helm as the head coach of the Western Hockey League's Kamloops Blazers from two thousand ten to two thousand thirteen, further solidifying his legacy in the hockey community. His expertise also led him to a brief tenure as the commissioner of the Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League in two thousand eighteen.
