Habib Essid

Habib Essid, born on June first, nineteen forty-nine, is a prominent Tunisian politician and economist. He made history by serving as the Prime Minister of Tunisia from February sixth, two thousand fifteen, to August twenty-seventh, two thousand sixteen. His appointment marked a significant milestone as he was the first Head of Government to be designated following the adoption of the new constitution, thus earning the distinction of being the inaugural Head of Government of the Second Tunisian Republic.

Before ascending to the role of Prime Minister, Essid held the position of Minister of the Interior in two thousand eleven.
