Hachim Mastour, born on June 15, 1998, in Italy, is a talented professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or second striker for Serie C Group A club Virtus Verona. His journey in football began at Reggiana, where his exceptional skills caught the attention of AC Milan, leading to a transfer at the young age of fourteen for a fee of five hundred thousand euros.
At just sixteen years old, Mastour made history by becoming Morocco's youngest-ever senior national team player, showcasing his potential on the international stage despite having only one senior appearance. His early career saw him loaned to Málaga in 2015, although his time there was brief, resulting in only one substitute appearance before the loan was terminated a year early.
Following his stint in Spain, Mastour continued to seek opportunities, moving to PEC Zwolle before making a permanent switch to Greek side Lamia. In 2019, he returned to Italy, where he played for Reggina and Carpi in Serie C. After a year without a club, he signed with Renaissance Zemamra in the Moroccan Botola 2, playing a crucial role in their promotion to the first tier.
His career continued to flourish as he joined Union de Touarga in Morocco's top league, and later made a notable appearance in the Kings League Italia with Zeta as a wild-card. In the summer of 2025, Mastour made his return to Italian professional football, signing with Virtus Verona, where he aims to make a significant impact.
