Hadi Saei

Hadi Saei, born on June tenth, nineteen seventy-six, is a distinguished Iranian taekwondo athlete and a prominent figure in sports history. He is celebrated as the most successful Iranian athlete in Olympic history, having achieved remarkable feats in the world of taekwondo. Saei's illustrious career is highlighted by his impressive collection of nine world-class titles, which includes two Olympic gold medals won in two thousand four and two thousand eight, alongside two world championship titles and four world cup titles.

His journey in taekwondo began to gain international recognition during the two thousand Summer Olympics held in Sydney, where he secured a bronze medal, marking the start of his ascent in the sport. Saei's dedication and skill have positioned him as one of the three Olympians with the most medals in taekwondo, a testament to his hard work and perseverance.

Beyond his athletic achievements, Hadi Saei has also made significant contributions to his community. He was elected as a member of the City Council of Tehran in the two thousand six local elections and successfully secured reelection in two thousand thirteen. Although he faced defeat in the two thousand seventeen election, his commitment to public service remains evident.
