Hadise, a talented singer, songwriter, and television personality, was born on October 22, 1985, in Belgium to a family of Lezgin-Kumyk descent who later settled in Sivas, Turkey. Her journey in music began with her participation in the Belgian singing competition Idool 2003, but it was her debut album, Sweat, released in 2005, that catapulted her to fame. The album featured five singles and earned her prestigious awards, including a TMF Award in Belgium and a Golden Butterfly Award in Turkey.
In 2008, Hadise released her self-titled album, which showcased her versatility with songs in both English and Turkish. The standout single, "Deli Oğlan," became a number-one hit in Turkey, solidifying her status as a prominent figure in the music industry. Her international recognition soared when she represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009 with the infectious track "Düm Tek Tek," which secured fourth place and marked her first number one single in Belgium.
Following her Eurovision success, Hadise continued to release hit albums, including Fast Life and Kahraman, both released in 2009. The single "Evlenmeliyiz" from Kahraman achieved top-ten status on the Türkçe Top 20 chart. Over the years, she has focused her career primarily in Turkey, releasing several more albums, such as Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer? in 2011, Tavsiye in 2014, and Şampiyon in 2017.
In addition to her musical endeavors, Hadise has made a name for herself in television. She hosted the Belgian version of The X Factor and has been a judge on O Ses Türkiye, the Turkish adaptation of The Voice, since 2011, showcasing her multifaceted talent and influence in the entertainment industry.
