Hâfiz Osman

Hâfiz Osman, born in the year sixteen forty-two, was a distinguished Ottoman calligrapher and writer whose contributions to the art of calligraphy are still celebrated today. His innovative spirit led him to enhance the traditional script, making it more refined and aesthetically pleasing.

One of his most significant achievements was the development of a layout template for the hilye, a decorative form of calligraphy that features the attributes of the Prophet Muhammad.
