Hamed Haddadi

Hamed Haddadi, born on May nineteenth, nineteen eighty-five, is a prominent Iranian professional basketball player known for his towering presence on the court. Standing at seven feet two inches tall and weighing two hundred fifty-four pounds, he has made a significant impact in the world of basketball, particularly in the Iranian Basketball Super League (IBSL) where he plays for Esteghlal BC.

Haddadi's journey in basketball took a remarkable turn when he became the first Iranian to step onto the hardwood of the National Basketball Association (NBA). His debut with the Memphis Grizzlies in two thousand eight marked a historic moment for Iranian sports. Over the next five years, he showcased his skills with the Grizzlies before having a brief stint with the Phoenix Suns.
