Hamza Abdi Barre

Hamza Abdi Barre is a prominent Somali politician who has been serving as the Prime Minister of Somalia since June 2022. His appointment came after a nomination by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on the fifteenth of June, followed by a parliamentary endorsement on the twenty-fifth of June, where he received overwhelming support with two hundred twenty-nine votes in favor, seven against, and one abstention.
