Hana Brady

Hana Brady was born on May sixteenth, nineteen thirty-one, in Czechoslovakia. She was a young Jewish girl whose life was tragically cut short during one of history's darkest periods, the Holocaust. Hana's story is a poignant reminder of the millions who suffered and perished during this time.

In the early nineteen forties, Hana and her family were subjected to the horrors of Nazi persecution. Ultimately, she was murdered in the gas chambers of Auschwitz, a notorious concentration camp located in the occupied territory of Poland. Her life, though brief, has left a lasting impact on those who learn about her story.

Hana's legacy is preserved through the non-fiction children's book titled 'Hana's Suitcase,' written by Karen Levine in two thousand two. This book not only recounts Hana's life but also serves as an educational tool, helping younger generations understand the significance of remembering the past.
