Hans Conried

Hans Georg Conried Jr., born on April 15, 1917, was a multifaceted American actor and comedian whose talents spanned across various mediums including film, television, and stage. He is perhaps best remembered for his iconic voice work, particularly as Captain Hook and George Darling in Walt Disney's beloved animated classic, Peter Pan, released in nineteen fifty-three.

In addition to his memorable roles in animation, Conried lent his voice to the notorious Snidely Whiplash in Jay Ward's Dudley Do-Right cartoons and portrayed Professor Waldo P. Wigglesworth in the Hoppity Hooper series. His versatility extended to live-action as well, where he hosted the innovative Fractured Flickers show and played Professor Kropotkin in both the radio and film adaptations of My Friend Irma.

Conried's television appearances were equally impressive. He portrayed Uncle Tonoose on the classic sitcom Make Room for Daddy and made guest appearances on the iconic I Love Lucy. His talent for bringing characters to life was further showcased when he took on the role of the Mad Hatter in The Alphabet Conspiracy in nineteen fifty-nine, alongside a talented ensemble cast.
