Hans-Georg von Friedeburg

Hans-Georg von Friedeburg, born on July fifteenth, nineteen ninety-five, was a prominent figure in the German military during World War II. He served as an admiral and held the position of deputy commander of the U-boat Forces of Nazi Germany. His career was marked by significant responsibilities within the Kriegsmarine, where he ultimately became the second-to-last Commander-in-Chief.

Von Friedeburg's military career culminated in a historic moment when he represented the armed forces at the signing of the German instruments of surrender. This pivotal event took place in Luneburg Heath on May fourth, nineteen forty-five, followed by ceremonies in Reims on May seventh and in Berlin on May eighth of the same year.
