Hans Tausen

Hans Tausen, born in 1494, emerged as a pivotal figure in the Danish Reformation, earning the moniker the “Danish Luther.” His profound influence as a theologian and linguist reshaped the religious landscape of Denmark during a time of significant change.

As a dedicated Lutheran pastor, Tausen served as the Bishop of Ribe, where he played a crucial role in the establishment of Lutheranism in the region.
