Haris Alexiou, born on December twenty-seventh, nineteen fifty, is a celebrated Greek singer, songwriter, and composer whose illustrious career has spanned over five decades. Renowned as one of Greece's most beloved artists, she has collaborated with prominent Greek songwriters and composers, gracing the stages of top musical theatres worldwide.

With a remarkable discography of over thirty albums, Alexiou has not only made her mark in Greece but has also garnered a significant following in Turkey. Her songs have been adapted into Turkish by various artists, showcasing her influence beyond borders. Notable tracks include 'Ola Se Thimizoun,' which was transformed into 'Olmasa Mektubun' by Yeni Türkü, and 'Pes Mou Pos Ginetai,' reimagined as 'Maskeli Balo' by Athena.

On March fourteenth, two thousand ten, Alpha TV recognized Alexiou as the top-certified female artist in Greece since the phonographic era began in nineteen sixty. Having moved to Athens in nineteen fifty-eight from Thebes, where her grandmother's family had migrated from Smyrna in nineteen twenty-four, Alexiou's roots are deeply intertwined with her music.
