Harjit Sajjan

Harjit Sajjan, born on September sixth, nineteen seventy, is a distinguished Canadian figure known for his multifaceted career as a soldier, politician, and police officer. He served as the Member of Parliament for Vancouver South from two thousand fifteen to two thousand twenty-five, representing the Liberal Party with dedication and commitment.

Throughout his political journey, Sajjan held several prominent Cabinet positions. He was appointed Minister of National Defence from two thousand fifteen to two thousand twenty-one, where he played a crucial role in shaping Canada's defense policies. Following this, he served as Minister of International Development from two thousand twenty-one to two thousand twenty-three, and later took on the responsibilities of Minister of Emergency Preparedness and President of the Privy Council from two thousand twenty-three to two thousand twenty-five.
