Harold Sakata, born Toshiyuki Sakata on July 1, 1920, was a multifaceted American talent known for his prowess as an Olympic weightlifter, professional wrestler, and film actor. His journey began in the world of weightlifting, where he achieved remarkable success, securing a silver medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics held in London. This achievement laid the groundwork for his transition into the realm of professional wrestling.

Under the ring name Tosh Togo, Sakata made a significant impact in the wrestling scene, primarily competing in various National Wrestling Alliance territories. He formed a formidable tag team with Great Togo, captivating audiences with their dynamic performances.
