Harry Maguire

Harry Maguire, born on March 5, 1993, is an accomplished English professional footballer renowned for his role as a centre-back. Currently, he plays for Premier League club Manchester United and represents the England national team. Maguire's football journey began at Sheffield United, where he progressed through the youth system and made his first-team debut in 2011.

After making 166 appearances for Sheffield United, he transferred to Hull City in 2014 for a fee of two and a half million pounds. His career continued to flourish as he was loaned to Wigan Athletic in 2015 before joining Leicester City in 2017 for an initial fee of twelve million pounds. During the 2017–18 season, he played every minute of every match and was honored as the club's Player of the Season.

In 2019, Maguire made headlines when he moved to Manchester United for a staggering fee believed to be eighty million pounds, setting a world record for a defender. His leadership qualities were quickly recognized, and within six months, he was appointed club captain, a position he held until 2023.
